I have been studying nutrition now for over 20 years and believe that many commercial dog foods are the cause of many health problems, obesity and behavioural problems. Many years ago dogs were fed natural food, meat and table scraps and did very well on it, then in the 1950's commercial pet foods started to creep in and it is since then the dogs health and life span has dramatically changed. So I decided to 'go back to nature' and feed my dogs natural non processed foods. Most commercial foods advertise a complete diet, but a complete diet means vitamin and mineral intake over a period of time not in 24 hours. wild animals eat a variety of different foods to balance what there body is telling them it needs and they do this over a period of 2 to 3 weeks so it is very unnatural for the body to receive all of what it needs in just 1 day and this in itself can cause health problems. The body is a very complex machine and a very clever one at that, it knows what it needs and when, so when it is fed the same day in and day out it can't cope and this is when things start to go wrong, so if your dog suffers any of the above conditions or you just want to feed a natural balanced diet then why not have a personal diet plan made up for your dog.
